Introduction

From global campaigns to grassroots storytelling, Danai brings over a decade of experience in marketing and culture. He’s now helping shape standout work at act.3 Australia.

Danai has spent over a decade working at the intersection of brand, sport, and culture — and if you ask him, he’s just getting started.

As a Senior Project Manager at act.3 Australia, he’s behind the scenes of some of the most exciting campaigns in the sports and lifestyle space — leading content creation, events, and activations that bring big ideas to life.

Calm under pressure and focused on detail, Danai is the kind of person who makes even the most complex projects run smoothly.

From global product launches to performance-led brand campaigns, he thrives in fast-paced environments built on trust, collaboration, and cultural relevance.

He first connected with act.3 while freelancing. A conversation with Samantha, the agency’s Managing Director, led to something more permanent — and since then, Danai’s been a core part of the team.

When asked about creative inspiration, he names just one person: Virgil Abloh. Known for blurring the lines between fashion, art, and culture, Abloh’s work continues to influence how Danai thinks about brand storytelling and

visual identity.

Marketing has always been his field of choice — and one that’s given him opportunities to connect brands with the right people, platforms, and moments. A recent highlight?

“I led the procurement and management of Team Samsung Galaxy — a team of 25+ Olympic and Paralympic athletes from 15+ countries who partnered with Samsung for the Paris Games.”

Outside the office, Danai brings the same drive and discipline to his personal goals. He’s currently training for a Hyrox event in 2025, aiming to complete it in under 1:05:00 — no small feat.

He also runs a football podcast — a creative outlet that brings him full circle with his own experience in the sport.

“I’ve played football for Australia at youth level,” he says — a highlight from his earlier years that still fuels his competitive edge today.

When it comes to advice that’s stuck with him, Danai keeps it simple: “Closed mouths don’t get fed.”

And for those just starting out in his field? “Ask questions and make yourself available to opportunities.”

Tools like ChatGPT have become part of his everyday workflow, helping him stay efficient while juggling creative and strategic demands.

And what keeps him grounded? The people around him.

“Meeting different people from different professions” is what Danai values most about working at Desk Space.

That mix of perspectives, he says, helps keep his own thinking fresh — and reminds him that inspiration can come from the most unexpected conversations.
